LATEST UPDATE: Our dad had his second blood transfusion the previous night and his vitals were stable at 3AM of Oct. 4, 2020. However, he had cardiac arrest around 10:30AM due to CO2 build up again and his heart got worked up due to his stiffened lungs. He had 3 cardiac arrests in the morning and was resuscitated. He was in critical condition.

We kept praying for his health to turnaround and recover completely.

In the evening at 6:10PM, our dad joined our Heavenly Father. We love him dearly and we will miss him always.

Thank you everyone for all the love and support. We are grateful as a family that you all reached out to us. God bless you all and we love you. We remain strong together as a family, and we keep strong in our faith in Jesus Christ our Lord, Savior, Healer, Provider and Friend. God is good all the time.

Second UPDATE: It's been 27 days since our dad was admitted to the hospital for Covid-19 Pneumonia, and it was there that he was discovered to have diabetes. He responded positively given the first set of medications, such as Remdizivir, Convalescent plasma therapy, Tocilizumab, Relaxants, and others to improve his condition. He was eventually transferred to a private room on Sep. 28, 2020 due to negative Covid-19 result in his swab test. However, on Sep. 30, 2020 he had a relapse due to a hospital acquired pneumonia infection and CO2 retention in his lungs, which suddenly caused unresponsiveness; he had to be intubated along with NGT feeding and urinary catheterization. He has been transferred to the ICU since then, and the doctors are constantly monitoring his vital signs since he was critical on the evening of Oct. 1, 2020 due to CO2 retention once again. Although thankfully, hours after he responded positively with some adjustments on the intubation machine. He is now better in responding and communicating with the people attending to him.

The doctors continue to monitor his lungs for improvement from pneumonia and they check them for any infections. They also monitor for any irregularities in his heartbeat, and check his blood for respiratory acidosis and other aspects that needs improvement such as potassium, sodium, and electrolyte levels, etc. Please continue to pray fervently for our dad.

We've set up this campaign to reach out for any support we can receive as our family continues to find ways in covering our dad's daily accumulating hospital expenses. We are grateful to have all of your support, encouragement, and care for our family.

Our family continues to support our dad by making him feel safe and strong despite his condition. We continue to help each other and be strong as a family, with and for our dad, to overcome these jarring challenges. Our entire family has been finding ways to reach out to him in the ICU to pray over him and give the comfort, encouragement, and strength he needs during these times.

Thank you. We look forward to our dad's complete healing and full recovery soon, in Jesus' Name, Amen! God bless always.
