"Grandmother Healing Dreaming" is a big dreaming assigned to me by my 'boss woman'. Her vision was to facilitate healing and reconciliation through respecting sacred bush medicines and using them 'right ways' for the healing of her people.(Njardu Desert Mob) and all other Indigenous and non Indigenous people.

Now is 'medicine time' and it is time to make a trip into the bush to collect some traditional bush medicines. We're just starting up and there's a much bigger dreaming to fulfill - but let's get this one kicked off firstly.

We need your help in raising some short term funding. If you're interested one of the photos shows the anticipated collection route. You can see it in one of the photos. It's basically a bit of a trek around Ballardong boodja (country), little bit in Wagyl Kaip boodja and bumping into Njardu bannah (country). Unfortunately can't do Njardu bannah as we would need more time and a better rig. Might look for some corporate type of sponsorship for that. Later

To better understand this 'Dreaming' please read my little eBook here; https://www.lulu.com/en/us/shop/jaahda-jinnah/abor...

You can also support the 'Dream' on an ongoing basis and get regular updates and be kept informed of all the other projects that the Gahbali Djukurrpa Aboriginal Corporation is up to by joining me on Patreon here. WEEK ONE in the Bush has unfortunately been plagued by car troubles! We're getting off to a late start after two breakdowns. I'll go put some new pics into the campaign now ;-) And thank you so very much for your kind thoughts and such positive wishes; they really bouy my spirit and soul. I currently don't have a spiritual reason or explanation for our delays and will post them when I figure them out!

WEEK ONE also brought us our first corporate sponsor! Elly Tomova of RITMSCENAR Asia Pacific today 'doubled our money' and we thank her enormously. Click thru on their link to check out their very interesting range of personal and practitioner products ;-) I've added a few more pics for those visual sorts who like and connect with them.

WEEK TWO saw us put a few kms under our belt - and Barry came along as an assistant/apprentice. He was a great helping hand and he had a good intuition regarding both finding and picking. This year we did not have time to go farther afield, but hopefully with more forward planning and time allocated - and a better BUS we can go farther afield next year :-). We are currently looking for sponsorship to get a more suitable vehicle.

This week we also scored our second corporate sponsor with Craig Fallshaw of CMG Group and to Craig I would like to extend a warm thank-you and let you know how important your donation to our cause is :-)

I'm adding a few more pics too!

CAMPAIGN UPDATE:This Campaign will remain open until the funding target has been reached. At this stage we have been out bush and collected a number of bush medicines. There is still a couple of more short runs out bush required for medicine collection. So far I have been dipping into personal funds to support this project. Hence more funds are required. To complete the project we shall need to meet our Target Amount.

Funds are needed to get through to the manufacturing phase and many things need to be purchased to bring this to fruition. The manufacturing phase is very expensive!! At least as expensive as the collection phase ;-) And so I need to 'rattle you all up' and ask you to share this campaign in your networks and get a few of you to dig into those pockets!

Once this stage has been completed I'll give another update regarding how the medicines will be distributed.

DECEMBER UPDATE;

Seems that the 'wildcrafting', being out bush and collection stage of this project is more or less concluded and over for this year. There are still a couple of items I've put the 'feelers' out for but I more or less have all I can get from this years incursion into Nyungar Boodja this spring (Kambarang).

Next I will be going into the Manufacturing phase of the project. I've added a pic that explains how this funding raised through here has been spent. Note that there have been no funds spent on 'Camping Supplies" except monies I personally spent. This is because (unfortunately) we have not been able to raise enough funds. Had we had them we could have bought some 'useful' things - such as an awning to keep us out of the midday sun during our middle of the day breaks.

Luckily I was able to supply a good basic camping kit using my own resources! The manufacturing portion of this project is HUGE and very expensive and we will need another very good injection of funds to get this project completed. Unfortunately I cannot afford to do this on my little lonesome and so I started up this fund-raising drive. So PLEASE try digging into those pockets to see how much you can help!

You may notice that costs for our petrol have come in at around two thirds of our anticipated cost and this was due to our late start which did not give us enough time to go farther afield and into the western desert. Hopefully next year!

There will also be quite of number of anticipated costs yet that will in under the heading of Collection costs and so the manufacturing and collection costs are intertwined. Take a look at the UPDATE pic to see the costs breakdown for this project so far. And once again may I thank you all so much for your contributions so far which have enabled this project to progress this far.

I WILL ADD MORE PICS SOON :-)

Thanks for reading, supporting, caring and donating ;-)
