On the 18th September 2020 a rare hurricane like storm hit Zakynthos with gale force winds and torrential rain. During the night the beautiful beloved Little Farm sustained considerable damage from fallen trees. The Tree House has been destroyed, animal enclosures flatted, beloved olives trees crushed under huge pine trees and the loss of one of the most loved animals Hope. Those that have visited the farm will know how much effort and love has been put into a project to allow children up close and personal to animals and such a welcoming family have brought an unforgettable experience to this Island. Both locals and tourists leave feeling a huge connection with this magical place. I am asking for any small donation to help replace fences, professional removal of trees, repairing animal shelters, admission losses due to closure, reconstruction materials for pathways and animal food. Any small donations I know will really help them and would be so gratefully received to an animal loving, devastated family right now. Thank you for reading.

2 weeks after the storm update!

Update posted by ANNETTE PHILLIPS at 11:50 am

So this week has been a difficult week. Unfortunately the effects of the storm caused our second fatality, our dear goat Mia passed away on Sunday. Just when things visually start to get better our hearts were broken again. The Farm is looking much better and burning piles have been. . . . .

  • Such a lovely farm and was so devastated to hear about the wreckage. Lovely owner and just a generally beautiful little farm. Wish them all the best and hope they get back on their feet soon!
