Campaign Story
From the time we made this campaign, a lot has already happened. There are so many downs compare to ups (please read "Updates" below for more details). But one thing is for sure, we are never giving up from this battle!
We are thankful for all the support we need, and we will be even more grateful of you could continue supporting us.

PLEASE KINDLY READ
Good day!
We are wholeheartedly asking for financial aid to support the medical needs of the mother of our family, Maria Elena S. Nabong. She has Stage 3b Cervical Cancer; and in the course of her treatment, she needed to be hospitalized several times. Now, she's hospitalized again to rule out the side effects of her cancer treatment; fever and pain mainly due to infections.
From the start of her treatment, and until now, we have already exhausted huge amounts. Her hospital running bill (update: discharged Oct. 3, final bill is P900k+) at the moment is really high and is still increasing; and we dont have enough money yet to pay it. After she gets discharged (this is our prayer!), she would have to continue her cancer treatment which is quite expensive. And in the process of treatment, this same situation may happen again and we dont want to be unprepared.
For this purpose, we are knocking into your hearts. Any amount will be of huge help for her, and to our family.

Mula po noong simulan namin itong kampanya sa pagpopondo, marami na pong nangyari. Mas marami ang mahihirap na sitwasyon na pinagdaanan namin kompara sa madali (paki-basa po ang "Updates" kung nais niyo pong malaman ang higit pang detalye). Pero isa lang ang sinisiguro namin, hindi po kami susuko sa labanh ito!
Nagpapasalamat po kami sa lahat ng sumuporta, at mas lalo po kaming magpapasalamat kung patuloy nyo po kaming masusuportahan!

Magandang araw po!
Kami po ay buong pusong humihingi ng tulong pinansyal upang tustusan ang mga pangangailangan medikal ng ilaw ng aming tahanan na si Maria Elena S. Nabong. Siya po ay mayroong Stage 3b Cervical Cancer, at sa proseso po ng gamutan, ay kinailangan niyang ma-confine sa hospital ng makailang ulit. Sa ngayon po, kinailangan na muli syang ma-hospital upang gamutin mula sa sakit at lagnat na dulot ng infection na 'side effect' ng gamutan sa kanyang kanser.
Mula ng magsimula ang kanyang gamutan, hanggang sa ngayon, ay malaking halaga na po ang aming nagamit. At ang running bill ( update: nailabas na po ng hospital, ang bill po ay mahigit P900K) nya ngayon sa hospital ay lubhang malaki na po at kasalukuyan pang nadadagdagan at wala pa po kaming sapat na pera para bayaran ito. Pagkatapos po niyang mailabas ng hospital (ito po ang aming dasal!), kakailanganin pa po ulit niyang ituloy ang gamutan sa kanser na may kamahalan. At sa proseso po ng gamutan na ito, posibleng maulit na naman po ang ganitong sitwasyon, at ayaw po naming mangyari ito ng hindi kami handa.
Sa kadahilanan pong ito, kami ay kumakatok sa inyong puso. Kahit anong halaga po ay magiging malaking tulong para sa kanya, at sa aming pamilya.

To tell it directly (as what my title is), we are able to pay all the remaining hospital bill today (P154k+) !!!! We are now 100% clear from our hospitaI liability! (Although we still have to pay back. . . . .

As a result, we cannot have any monitoring laboratory tests that she needs from time to time. What we did was continue her medication as much.Now,. . . . .

It has been already 1 week after we brought mom home.She still has recurring fever, but not as often as before.She is still not regained her strength, though her appetite is getting bettter.Honestly, in her condition; if we could have enough means, we would have her monitored at. . . . .

It was a long process (since we dont have enough cash to pay all the balances at once), but we feel some sort of relief now. It was actually since last week that we are planning for her immediate discharge, but it. . . . .

Observation Result | Important Decision

I am happy to inform you that my mom's stools are normal.After colonoscopy, low dosage blood thinner was injected to her (to address her blood clot). After that, her stools did not have blood! Next is, higher dosage blood thinner war injected to her then. Again, her stools. . . . .

First, she has ulcer near the spleen, though it is already healing. The other one is, there is a vein that is prone to burst, so it was clipped.They allowed her to start eating. . . . .

They explained her current condition.When they found out that she has blood clot, they administer blood thinner on her. But then, she discharged blood unexpectedly. They suspected she has bleeding in the intestine, and they need to "clip" it. . . . .

Update posted by Church So Blessed Binangonan at 03:50 pmIm really mustering my courage to write down this update.This day, at 5am, my mom's bowel has dark and with bright red blood. I cannot look at it. The medicine they give to her to supposedly dissolve her blood clot in the intestine did not happen as expected. They stopped. . . . .

Update posted by Church So Blessed Binangonan at 03:48 pmGenerally, we are not really happy about how the doctors handled mom.With multiple repeated laboratories (some are really expensive!), they could not still detect the real problem.We send her to ER because she has high fever 2 days after her high-dosage radiation treatment (brachytherapy). She can still stand and walk. . . . .
