Help Rostum Cruz get home

Hello everyone!

These times are really challenging, but we know that we have a greater God who’s always in control.

My name is Stephanie, and I am doing this to help my cousin’s husband (Rostum, but we all call him Kuya Totong) who suffered series of heart attacks just last Thursday til Friday early morning.

Kuya Totong is a very hardworking man. He always puts his family first. As told by my cousin Ate Ria (his wife), Thursday night around 10PM, he was already having difficulty in breathing. But being the usual person that he is, he chose to ignore it and said that he only needs rest. And he did. Around 3AM of Friday, Ate Ria just found him curled up on their bed and it was apparent that things were getting a bit out of hand. That’s when they decided to bring him to the hospital. He was taken to the ER, and immediate care was given. Based on his initial test, he had a Troponin level of 300 when the normal should be at 19 only.

This morning (Saturday) around 10, he underwent a procedure called Angiogram to know more about his case. They were eventually told that he needs to undergo Angioplasty as they need to insert a stent for the blockage found in his heart. According to the estimated cost of the procedure and the after-care (he needs to be transferred to ICU after the operation for his optimal monitoring), around PhP 500k would be needed. This still doesn’t include the expenses incurred yesterday, and the Angiogram they did today which was around Php70k.

Their only daughter Roan will be celebrating her 7th birthday by October 1. They’re not wishing her to have a grand celebration, but it would really make Roan’s wish come true by seeing her dad be brought home alive and well.

We know that we all have our personal trials at the moment, but my whole family would really appreciate any amount to help us with the finances. Your prayers would also be a huge help! I’m praying that the good Lord will use you as His channel of blessing to save Kuya Totong.
