A loving daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and especially a mother is knocking on your heart .

My mother was an OFW here in UAE for almost 10 years. She experienced headaches since then. She finally went back home in the Philippines in order to live with our family but an unfortunate event happened. Last May, she experienced lost of sight and having headaches, in our concern and curiosity, they went to ophthalmologist and the doctor told them that much better to get an eye scan, blood test, MRI and other laboratory test to find out what is the real problem. We found out that she has Pituitary Gland Adenoma.

Pituitary adenomas arise from the pituitary gland and are by far the most common growth associated with the gland; they account for 15% of primary brain tumors and are the third most common intracranial tumor after meningiomas and gliomas. The great majority (over 90%) of pituitary adenomas are benign slow growing tumors, approximately 5-10% are somewhat more aggressive (atypical) and less than 1% qualify as pituitary carcinoma.

From autopsy studies and MRIs of normal individuals, it is known that 10-20% of the general population has a pituitary adenoma. Most of these tumors remain small and do not cause significant harm or symptoms; however many do progress and grow to cause hormonal and neurological problems.

We thank God because this tumor is benign but if it will not remove as soon as possible there will be complications that may arise. The doctor told us that my Mother should have Pituitary Gland Adenoma removal surgery. Because of what she's experiencing, she has lost 90% of her eyesight and she doesn't have peripheral view. She had gone through multiple tests, diagnostics, and we have exhausted all our finances.

We are in dire need of support to continue this fight together with God as our witness and healer. We’d gladly accept monetary assistance. Any amount will do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

God bless and Stay Safe.
