Fundraiser for Medical School Expenses

This fundraiser is for raising funds for the tuition fees for fees for my daughter Janice Urombo who is a third year Medical Student in the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology at the Kazan Federal University(KFU).

Janice started her studies in 2016 at Crimea State Medical University(CSMU) in Simferopol doing the Preparatory Course, where she excelled and came out as the Top of the Class(Best Student). She eventually transferred to Kazan Federal University to start the Medicine programme. Her performance there is such that she is always placed in the Top Five of the Class.

During these early years we experienced erratic problem in making payments of fees because of changes in the Zimbabwean Monetary Policy and Foreign Exchange regulations resulting in some payments not being made in time. What followed was economic challenges that depreciated the Zimbabwean currency when it was gradually changed from the United States Dollar(USD) to local currency. All this has resulted in us owing the university up to two semesters in fees.

For my daughter to continue with her studies we need to pay the outstanding fees and the fees for the forth-coming semester. The tuition fees USD 7432.22 for previous semesters and USD 2731.32 for the upcoming semester. Other expenses come to an estimated total of USD 1 920. The completion of the course is of paramount importance to my daughter and me, and we would appreciate a donation of any amount. The target is to clear the tuition fees backlog and thereafter we will raise the fees for each semester.
