(Lyn Leoncio) Mom’s Chemotherapy Treatments

Dear Friends, Family, Co-workers, and anybody with a Gracious Heart,

Our hearts and prayers of appreciation goes out to those who went out of their way to donate for Mom's colon operation. Any amount was never too small and all of those contributed to easing the financial burden that has befallen us in these extra-ordinary trying times. We know that you yourselves have commitments and responsibilities to your family and love ones and yet you found a way to help.

The Operation was a success! However, with the win comes another realization that our test of faith is far from over. The tumor that was extracted from her colon was malignant (Cancerous) and in the process her spleen and a portion of her diaphragm had to be removed. Furthermore, there were growths that were removed from her breasts and these too were found to be malignant.

Our Father left us during the Pandemic, and now this. How many times we cried out and think why is this happening? Why her? And isn't taking away our Dad enough? If i can tell you all the hardships and sacrifices she had endured for us, even this would pale in comparison.

We will not give up. She is all we have left. We have to believe, and trust in the Infinite wisdom of God. We have to continue to fight on and we need all the help we can get.

As before, we would like to request for your prayers and although these are uncertain times when most of us and our livelihoods are affected by the Pandemic, we humbly would like to still appeal for your kindness and help our Mother get through this by donating any amount that you can spare us.

The Next steps would be crucial to making her better and this would involve Chemotherapy treatments. As soon as the doctor tells us that she is physically and emotionally ready, we would want to begin the treatments as early as possible.
