Baby Robi’s Fight Against Endocarditis and Cerebral Aneurysm

On June 5, 2020, 5-month-old Baby Robert Franklin Aquino ("Baby Robi") was hospitalized due to high fever and swelling in the hands and feet. He was then diagnosed with endocarditis and cerebral aneurysm. He underwent brain surgery to seal off the aneurysm and remove the blood clots. The surgery went successful and he is under observation. He is still expected to stay in the hospital for weeks
to months depending on his treatment and how his body will recover. Baby Robi continues to be treated for sepsis and endocarditis which includes constant tests, procedures, blood transfusion to name a few. That being said, the cost of the hospitalization, operation plus the doctors' fee are no joke. As of June 16th, their bill is at 728,991.14php (approximately $14,562.00) which does not include doctors' fee.
