I have lost my job due to Covid-19 in February. I have severe depression and has attempted suicide numerous times in the past when I wasn’t on my current medication. I do not have medical aid. I have ran completely out of money and need so see my psychiatrist on a monthly basis. I then have to pay for all my psychiatric medicine. They include Effexor, Lamictal, Dogmatil, Rivotril, Wellbutrin and Valium. I have enough medicine to last me another two weeks. Without money I will have to quit cold-turkey, which will result in serious withdrawal effects and deteriorating mental health.

I hope that there is people that understand the severity of struggling with depression daily. I sincerely hope that I will somehow manage to continue with my medication and stay safe without suicidal tendencies.

Bless all.
