Campaign Story
May the Lord be with you always.I am Jeannette Joyce Tan from the Philippines.I have a sister Jonna Mae Tan Jagunos ,27 years old. When she was 11 years old,she was diagnosed of Type1Diabetes Mellitus or Juvenile Diabetes.Since then she was advise to have 2 to 3 shots of insulin per day because her pancreas was no longer functioning. As the years went by,her health kept deteriorating. She was in and out of the hospital often.June of last year until October she was admitted three times. She already have complications and was diagnosed of End Stage Renal Failure. She had two surgeries for her dialysis. One on her arm AVF or Fistula and the other on her neck. They placed catheter on her neck for temporary use of dialysis while waiting for her Fistula to be healed. My father and brothers also does not have work due to covid 19. I am the only one working for now to support all our needs. We could no longer pay for my sister's treatment. I can only bring her three times a month. She was supposed to have it 3x a week and it cost P1500 per session. We were told by her Renal Nurse that it will be too risky for her to skip dialysis again. She is having her Dialysis Session at BOHOL MEDICAL CARE INSTITUTE (BMCI). We would very much appreciate any help you can give for my sister. Thank you so much for your kind hearts.
