This is the last message of “Keep Tawan bar open” campaign. Bar was repaired (actually rebuilt) with your help and presence. Huge thanks to all of you !

The last goal to announce it finished successfully is 35K Baht to pay pack of bills and restart business.

It’s not that much if we get together but a lot in squids which Jong fishing and sailing everyday trying to cover payments.

There still some free space at Honour board of best friends in the bar. If you want to put your name in this epic story, you still can choose this reward in new page of Tawan Eco Community at gogetfunding.

And here comes the idea to say thank you for everybody in a best way Jong can - to compose an album of songs about island life, dark time of COVID-19, human kindness, friendship and love of course.

If you want to have your own song in album you can choose this option in campaign page. Cheryl and Ann(coming soon) and Hannes songs already there )!

And of course you can join Jong with planting trees and organising space in Tawan Eco land.

Trees of Ann Krug, Natalie Klinke, Cheryl Brighton, Surat Pornpon, Nina and Mark Muller and other kind helpers already planted and enjoying Thailand sun )!

With your amazing generosity and Jong friends fellowship which are so kind to help, main repairing works had done pretty quick. Tawan bar gonna stay open for many years to meet old friends and new people. It is a History now: How is in one of the darkest time of nowadays humans get together and made a miracle.

You all can be proud of yourself !

Just about a week or so to finish the last part - the bar stand itself. Works are going a bit slow now, because of rains and … ))). Actually Jong is a great musician but not so perfect accountant. (You all know this))). Just remember DIY conscience payment system in his place). So it’s a little over budget and project still need some income to be finished.

After that Jong can go to his homeland and plant trees in Tawan Eco Land at last.

Especially it’s a perfect time now. It’s time to plant the trees!

So, dear friends!

In these tourbulent time life is going like a crush test for everyone. The hospitality area is approaching the Black Hole at the moment. Everyone's favourite local places are in big danger. But we can help them to pass it and survive!

Tawan Eco Bar is not just about to drink and chillout. If you ever visit it once you knew that it is also absolutely amazing place where hearts get warming and everybody share friendship and love.

Jong is unique musician running built by his own hands bar in one of the most beautiful places – Ko Kood island in Thailand. He enjoyed natural life, spontaneous jam sessions with guests and render his outstanding hospitality for 7 years already.

Let’s just announce the rules of the place to feel it’s good vibes:

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Now, when all public places stay close but external expenses like rent, electricity and other utilities still should be payed, you can help to survive this friendship and high humanity little spot.
