Build a mosque in Tanzania

Asalaam alaykum brothers and sisters.

My name is Yuko, a Japanese female living in Tanzania for over 10 years. Alhamdulillah I converted in this land of Africa years ago and started my journey as a Muslim.

I had difficulties in my life, having troubles with neighbors and eventually I was forced to buy a piece of land in front of my house. Simply, I wasn’t happy. I had no friends and I had to go back and forth the court and police station to try and defend myself alone... I was tired. All I was doing was to put myself closer to Allah.

One day, this war came to an end, Alhamdulillah. I calmed myself down in my house and I realized something is missing... I don’t hear Azan. There is no mosque around. I see a brother praying in his room and people complaining that there is no mosque nearby. Won't it be beautiful if there was a mosque on the land that I bought? It can unite people in the community, make their iman stronger, and be a place for the newly converted to take shahada InshaAllah.

So that’s how this project was born. My husband, my family in-law, my Muslim neighbors and friends are so cooperative and I am getting a permit to build a mosque from city council very soon InshaAllah (it’s out already See updates).

Brothers and sisters, now I need your support. Can you lend a hand in building a mosque together? I need funds for electricity, water, building construction, sand, cement, timber, iron sheets, floor tiles, windows, gypsum boards, paints, sanitary appliances, water supply pipes, water transfer pumps, water storage tanks, main power supply, lightings, fans, speakers, carpets, labor charges and any other necessary materials. It doesn’t matter how much you donate but I appreciate each and every donation you make. May Allah reward you for your kindness.
