Campaign Story
Kokoska is a cute 6 months kitten, found on the street when she was a small baby. She is the sweetest, lovely and loving creature.
She has FIP. It is a fatal disease for cats, and there are only 2 options:
- seeing how she is getting worse and worse day after day and finally euthanize her. Isn't it a terrific option?... only look at her eyes.. It is not only a cat, it is a Friend...
- give her chance to survive and start fighting thanks to a relatively new anti-viral treatment.
Recently scientists led by dr. Niels Pedersen found a cure for FIP and established a protocol for a total treatment of the cat that lasts 12 weeks and eliminates the virus from the body.
There are different success stories in different countries, including Poland, and testimonials when this treatment restored the heath of animals and the joy of their owners.
I am sure everyone would select the second option, and would give chance to survive, would do everything to save the life.
Unfortunately, this treatment is very expensive. Imagine you can save your friend, but you cannot afford it..
We urgently need your help and your support. FIP is progressing very fast and we need to act now, we have no time to wait...
Support us please and share! Please help in sharing this message with as many people as possible.
Every single donation, even minimum amount, is very important and critical for us!
Thank you!!!
UPDATE 2020-03-15:
30th day of treatment / 84: Today is the 30th day of treatment of Kokoska - she responds well to treatment and currently feels great :-) I haven't written anything for a long time, we wanted to see how it would be and whether it all makes sense .. Now I can say - YES, IT MAKES SENSE! Kokoska had anemia at the beginning, she had a fever, a huge tummy with liquid. She was lying all the time. Appetite was average. The first 2 weeks of treatment I was afraid to write something because the changes were not instant. But now I can say with confidence - we are going in the right direction: from the 9th day of treatment no more fever, from about 14th day - the abdomen has already shrunk and it looks like the fluid is gone (in a week we have another ultrasound and then we will definitely confirm). Blood tests - show better and better results. Kokoska again has a huge appetite and is just as active as before the disease - she plays, jumps, enjoys life!
That is why we need your support so much - we have another 54 days of therapy ahead of us. It is very critical and important to continue the therapy and do not allow any interruption. We will be very grateful for every single donation, even minimum amount, is very important and critical for us!
UPDATE 2020-04-09:
Today 2020-04-09 is the 55th day of treatment (out of 84). Kokoska feels better and better. 2 weeks ago, the ultrasound control confirmed the lack of fluid in the tummy :-) and the blood test also came out nice. Kokoska is already a week after the neutering - it was necessary to do during the treatment in accordance with the recommendations of Dr. Pedersen. Kokoska has become even more gentle, cuddly and fluffy :-) She runs happily, loves paying with mouse and ball toys. When I work from home, she always accompanies me at the computer, she comes to murmur in the breaks between her games. Sometimes she comes, climbs to my cheek and gives me a kiss :-) She is very active, enjoys life so much that it is hard to think that she would not be there without these expensive experimental drugs ... Thank you so much for every donation and for each sharing! We need your help so much!
UPDATE 2020-06-04:
I am not expert at all in promotion of Fundraiser. I've never done it. I have not been able to collect the necessary amount yet, but thanks to the good hearts and kindness of people (very often even people that I did not know) I managed to get medicine on time for Kokoska (and this is crucial! we couldn’t delay the treatment! and we could not stop the therapy !!), but I have to pay for this medicine later as soon as the needed amount is collected. Thank you all for your support so far! for each sharing and every penny!
Kokoska is now after 84 days GS therapy, she is in track of 84 days observation period. Kokoska feels good, runs happily and enjoys every day :-) We continue to do regular blood and ultrasound tests. And these are also additional costs ...
We are asking you for further support. We believe that together we will succeed!
UPDATE 2020-09-26:
Kokoska is now after the observation period and we can certainly say that she has defeated FIP :-) Kokoska is feeling great and enjoys life as a cat can :-) She has grown up, she is already an adult one year old cat, very active, cheerful and cuddly. It's scary to think that her life could have ended when she was a little 6-month-old kitten. We are very happy that we managed to win the fight for her life ❤ And we are very grateful for your help so far - for every payment and good thought! Now only a financial hole to be patched ...

Good evening, I am so happy Kokoska received treatment and is on her way to a healthy life. She looks great! Sorry donations were low, unemployment is high in the United States. I did donate in March. I hope this additional donation helps.
Good news!!!

Good evening Tetiana, I am so happy you were able to get Kokoska the treatments and she is now FIP free. So beautiful. Sorry I lost touch after I donated in February. As you know Covid-19 has impacted the world globally and made this a very sad year so I am over the moon to get this update. I lost my job in April but I want to help you with your debt so I am donating what I can. Hope it helps❤️

Kokoska is a beautiful girl who deserves a chance to live a happy life with her meowmy. I am in Michigan and my neighbor has seen tremendous success with FIP trials after 43 of 84 treatments but it is very expensive because it is a trial. Now more than ever we need to come together with compassion and humanity towards all living beings.

Donating in memory of my kitty who just lost her battle with FIP. I'm not sure what all options are available in your area, but we have CareCredit and ScratchPay that helps pay vet visits and you can have payment plans with no interest. Praying for your little one.
