Nephrectomy for Mum

Diagnosis: Emphysematous Pyelonephritis resulting to Nephrectomy

We are humbly asking for support as she went through 3 surgeries now, one of which was a major procedure of Nephrectomy or taking one of her kidneys out.

She was brought in the ER and was immediately admitted in the ICU due to multiple infections. Doctors hoped for her condition to get better after administering high grade antibiotics but after series of laboratory tests, trials on combined antibiotics, they found other infections surfacing. This led their diagnosis to Emphysematous Pyelonephritis

Our family has some means of paying the hospital bills but with her hospitalisation now on its 3rd week, our expenses have gone way beyond our means

Mum, has always extended a helping hand to people in need. She and my dad continued to support siblings from a small family in Leyte by offering our home to them in Manila, taking them as part of our family and sent them to school to help them find their feet to stand on their own in the future. I hope through this crowdfunding, we also get a bit of help from anyone who can. Thank you so much!
