Ruth Connell’s Birthday Fundraiser for ‘My Hope Chest’ 2020

As we all know, Ruth Connell is so passionate about supporting important causes, and exhibits immense generosity when it comes to helping those in need. To celebrate our first year with her and all of her wonderful fans, we wanted to organize something to help do some good and we couldn't think of a better way to honour a woman so selfless and honest than by supporting her favourite charity, My Hope Chest.

In many years past, fans from around the world have raised thousands of dollars and supporters for My Hope Chest. We hope to continue that tradition and therefore I'm incredibly confident that once again Ruthie's fans and supporters from around the world can come together and raise $500 for My Hope Chest. In their words, the purpose of My Hope Chest is to help restore self-esteem, dignity and confidence to breast cancer survivors by facilitating and funding, as needed, reconstructive surgery for those who do not have adequate financial means to afford such surgery and to educate survivors on their breast reconstruction options. 100% of the funds raised will be sent directly to MHC when the fundraiser closes. While the general intention is to raise money to celebrate Ruth's birthday on April 20th, the fundraiser will remain open until the end of May with the hope that we can reach, or even exceed the goal. If there is still interest after that point, we will do our utmost best to continue, providing the platform will allow us to.

Not only do we hope to raise this money and play our part in helping those who need it, we would love to show Ruthie that the love she puts out into the world by using her many platforms for good is inspiring us all to do, and be better.
