As everyone was celebrating Christmas 2019, a category 1 hurricane locally known as Typhoon Ursula struck the Philippines, specifically the Eastern Visayas, Southern Luzon, and Western Visayas regions. One of the places terribly hit by the typhoon is a small island in the province of Masbate called Jintotolo Island where our family is from. While our own families' homes were not damaged, many people from the island lost their homes to the typhoon, leaving many families homeless. Most of these people who lost their homes are in need of financial assistance to rebuild their homes since most of the island people only rely on fishing and farming to provide for their basic needs.

We would like to ask for your financial help so we can provide families who are in desperate need of help in rebuilding their homes. The money that will be raised will be distributed to families through (1) cash gift or (2) home building materials (3) relief goods.

This page will be constantly updated of the activities related to the home building projects and relief goods giving activities to take place in Jintotolo Island.

Thank you very much for your help and support. May God bless you richly!
