DESPERADOS 2019 -

This campaign is secifically aimed at assisting individuals and families that are either currently recovering from illness, in need of medical assistance, housing or in need of immediate relief during unemployment.

Personal fundraising allows people to ask their friends and family members to help them raise funds for practically any reason.

With personal fundraising, individuals are empowered to share their stories and ask for help. The social sharing component helps raise awareness and encourages communities to support financial assistance to individuals for various reasons.

In my case I have been unable two work for almost two months due to illness.

I will be retrenched from my job at the end of December and am only currently working part-time.

I have been through a lot in the last twelve months and would not ask for assistance if my back was not against the wall.

Many friends have already been there for me during the last two months and I am sincerely grateful for all the help, phone calls and prayers.

Two weeks ago it hit home, I have zero cash coming in till about the end of December and then I am being retrenched. WOW so what now? It was then that I realized that I am aware of at least five other people that are most probably worse off than me.

That was when the idea of DESPERADOS 2019 came to me, I called a friend of mine, local troubadour, Charl Barnard and told him my story, I remember saying “Music Man I’m out gunned, low on ammo, have you got my back”?

If you know Charl you will know that he will always only ever say yes (even if you ask him to help you commit a crime).

Charl has agreed to make 4 recordings available to anybody that donates to this fund, in addition we are busy organising a little party where Charl will perform live we also have a few other ideas.

DESPERADOS 2019 is specifically aimed at assisting individuals and families that are either currently recovering from illness, in need of medical assistance, housing or in need of immediate relief during unemployment.

Should you assist you will be rewarded, I have decided to keep this campaign going as there are many people in need of assistance.
