Campaign Story
Hello family and friends,
This is Anthony. I hope all of you are well and in the best of health. Just recently, a sizeable tumor has been discovered on my brain, just behind my eyes, which has resulted to a partial loss of vision on both my eyes. On my right eye, I am only seeing 50%, and on my left eye, I am only seeing 10%. Surgery is needed as soon as possible to preserve whatever is left of my vision, and hopefully reverse the vision loss. Due to the size of the tumor, a craniotomy operation is required, which means they will have to open up my skull to remove the brain tumor, which sadly is quite an expensive operation that needs to be performed at Vicente Sotto Hospital in Cebu, as recommended by my neurosurgeon in Dumaguete.
It is with this note that I am appealing for any help you can extend for my upcoming operation. Please help me and my family pray for a successful operation, and whatever financial support you can spare, big or small, I will be very grateful for, from the bottom of my heart. With God’s grace, the entire mass was successfully removed. Mass was further confirmed to be pituitary macroadenoma and a sample was sent for biopsy. Cerebral angiogram was done this morning, and with God’s grace, no major blood vessels are feeding the tumor, hence embolization was not done. I was admitted here in Vicente Sotto last Nov 26 and is currently undergoing a Cerebral Angiogram with the possibility of Embolization today, November 29, 2019 at Cebu Doc Hospital. In addition, the craniotomy surgery procedure would be conducted exactly 1 week

We advised our neurosurgeon about the results and they immediately put us in the waiting list for the room availability in Vicente Sotto Hospital where I would be having my Craniotomy.
