Support for Dad/Grandmother/Caregiver

Hallo to all over the world,

I'm here today, writing to everyone out there, as a much needed last resort to a very sad situation.

My name is Eloise. I live in a beautiful country called South Africa. Born and raised by the best parents anyone could ask for. Sadly my mother passed away 6 years ago due to cancer and my father survived very tough times, especially with my mom's illness. He has always been a very hard working, honest and very giving person. Unfortunately he has lost his job 2 months ago and struggling to survive with no income, no back up, no savings, nothing to fall back on. He was 100% dependent on his salary to get through every month. Not only does he support himself, but my 84 year old grandmother who lives with him and needs 24/7 care at home, as well as her 24/7 caregiver, also residing at their home. Basic expenses are very high and outstanding medical bills for my grandmother, is piling up.

My husband and I, as well as one other family member, have tried our absolute best contributing our time, assisting with care and money as well, however, we are in a tight position ourself as of late.

I can go on and tell you exactly how bad the situation is but I believe there are many people who all have bad and sad situations in life, which might not make my father's situation any more special. But its a matter very close to my heart and a very sad and stressful time, having to turn to strangers, to ask for funds, to atleast cover the basic bills and living expenses for one month.

My father is actively searching for new employment, but in the meantime, he is unable to pay any bills, cover any daily or unexpected expenses.
