Save Meringue’s Life

My cat Meringue (2 years 10 months) has been diagnosed with Rectal Prolapse. A life threatening condition in which one or more layers of the cat's rectum are displaced through the anus, the opening which allows digestive waste to leave the body.

She has been operated on once already but unfortunately this was not successful. More extensive surgery is now needed to stop this condition as her case is very severe.

"Recurrent cases of rectal prolapse may require internal sutures to tack the colon to the internal body wall"

CT Scan and blood test has to be done too.

Unfortunately I do not have enough funds to pay for the surgery. I literally requested to take her out of the hospital. And it breaks my heart. The surgeon has outlined to have her treated as soon as possible or further complications will occur.

"Without treatment, the prolapsed tissue can develop serious, life-threatening complications."
