Campaign Story
PLEASE HELP ME SAVE MY VISION. I STILL WANT TO SEE THE WORLD. I STILL WANT TO SEE MY PARENTS AND MY YOUNGER SISTER. PLEASE, I AM SCARED.
My name is Lakeisha Yzabelle 'Ori' as my family fondly calls me. In a span of three weeks, I have gone from a healthy and happy 9 year old to having a brain surgery to eliminate a tumor that has formed around my pituitary gland and extended superiorly towards the suprasellar cistern.
Unfortunately, the operation has been futile. Doctor's recommendation was for the surgery to be done abroad the soonest. But due to the case being so rare that my tumor formed around my optic nerve my vision has started to get blurry, we could not find any doctor willing to take the case abroad.
Fortunately, My parenrs after months of looking for doctors, Dr. Gap agreed to do my second surgery successfully removing 90% of the tumor. I also underwent 4 sessions of chemotherapy. At first everything is fine until the 4th chemo when I lost vision in my right eye. At this point, further treatment was suspended. But now, my left eye is starting to get blurry too and I am very scared.
My mommy said we have to undergo another operation to save my left eye. A cranio where they would again open my skull and after 4 months a transphenoidal to further remove the tumor on my optic nerve. At this point we have almost gone thru our savings and all the help mh family hot from friends and relatives.
PLEASE HELP ME SAVE MY VISION. I STILL WANT TO SEE THE WORLD. I STILL WANT TO SEE MY PARENTS AND MY YOUNGER SISTER. PLEASE I AM SCARED ππ

Although I don't know Lakeisha in person, but it was heart breaking to see her ill and suffer from pain. Praying for her recovery soon and hopefully surgery went well.

God is faithful. Ori is healed in Jesus's name. π
God will make a way ..
Update posted by Perlie Lynn Ngan at 09:33 amOri's 3rd surgery is done last November 20, 2019 but the surgeon can not take 100% of the tumor anymore, the consistency of her brain tumor is so firm and hard, her vision did not improve after the surgery since the tumor pressing on her optic nerve is still there.... . . . .
