Campaign Story
We fight against deaf people isolation. And we rely on you.
Help us to continue
- giving education to deaf people
- support to their families
- second chance course of G.S.L
- second chance courses of Greek language
- courses of English language
- courses of IT.
Deaf people are out of these skills because of the communication difficulty. The most important is the interpretation service in any part of their life. For all these we need technical equipment and teaching materials.
KIVOTOS Multipurpose is a Nonprofit Civic Organization that has been operating since 2006. It was founded by deaf people with experience in special education and people with hearing impaired people.
The goal of the Organization is for the hearing people to approach, get to know and eventually understand the language and culture of these people. In short, to communicate with "their world". KIVOTOS struggles daily to achieve its goals, through the education and dissemination of Greek Sign Language (G.S.L) to the hearing population. In addition, it provides support services to people with disabilities and their families through a range of actions and initiatives.
However, continuing to see the lack of quality and dignity in the lives of people with hearing impairments and vulnerable groups in general, we have decided to undertake the task of providing services to individuals with regard to their interpretation, educational and cultural development.
Thank you very much in advance.
