Campaign Story
There was a running lady who crossed a no-jaywalking 8 lane highway that blindsided us along Ninoy aquino ave last sunday. The collision sent me and my friend ( AC ) flying forward from the bike. While Ac got minor injuries and scratches I got multiple injuries but the worse of it is I got a shattered angkle and a broken leg in 3 places. If i dont get metal implants next week doctor said i wont walk again. I need help :( i went to the Philippine Orthopedic Center which is a government hospital. They told me i needed to raise the money so i can be put on queue for the operation.
Please help me walk again

November 27 update PGH

Apparently i cant get the operation yet because the leg is still swelling. The problem is its already 30 days since the accident and the bonee are starting to heal. It would

It was a zombie apocalypse got a wheelchair from a nearby supplier muna to survive the foot traffic. Got to designated room. While marko lined up to get me in the system. We got attended to. . . . .
November 5 update
Update posted by Paolo Marco manalac at 02:37 pmWent for check up back in Philippine Orthopedic Center.Arrived aroubd 11 am. We got attended to 4ish pm. They removed the cast inspected the leg. And realigned and added a double new cast. They gave medical abstract and perscription for the implants. Which i confirmed is not going to be. . . . .

charmaine cordi, if you want facts, please go to the police and responders who was really there. im not twisting the truth. 2 months is the waiting line in the current hospital. The ER doctor told me the longer i wait the less chance i can walk again and adviced us to get the surgery as soon as possible because of bone callus formation. If it heals without the operation the misaligned bones will be hitting flesh thus giving extreme pain thats the reason why you cant walk again. Now were looking for other options to get the surgery as soon as possible. We didnt say it can wait for two more months.

You said in your previous comment how can you respond and all when you’re in shock and all, but now you changed your story and you’re suddenly claiming you checked on her? Get your story straight. SOMEONE IS OBVIOUSLY TWISTING THE TRUTH HERE. Thought you WON’T WALK AGAIN if you don’t get the implants next week? Now, it can wait for 2 months. Please STOP EXAGGERATING AND LYING to people who might help you. SHAME ON YOU!

@ charmaine cordi, i dont know where your getting your story, but right after the crash happened i was still stuck under the wreckage bathing in gasoline i was screaming at my pillon rider to check her until the responders arrived. He went over to check up on her until the responders then told him to not move her and stay away, you can fact check it at the police station.

How can you be the victim if you’re the one driving? The pedestrian was a senior citizen who can’t climb the overpass. Are you seriously asking that lady to climb it just so you won’t run over her because you’re reckless? You’re not the victim here so please don’t claim it. You and your companion were awake yet you never checked on the REAL VICTIM who was UNCONSCIOUS. It just shows someone’s true colors.

Miss Charmaine Cordi get your facts straight. I did not hit and run. my pillon rider talked to the police as soon as they arrived . We surrendered everything the police asked us for. how can we respond if we ourselves was injured and rushed to the hospital. I dont have any family here, we were in shock and injured and by the time we stabilized in the hospital, we received a text threatening to sue us, thats why we consulted a lawyer. We did not get a lawyer. It was a chill bsunday morning but where the accident happened is an 8 lane highway with two pedestrian overpasses and has a huge sign saying DO NOT CROSS THE ROAD. we were blindsided and shocked why would a person cross this road. If anything we are the victims here.
