Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit our page ☺️ Here’s our story -

We’re both community cat caregivers and we recently found Pickles wandering around looking for food. We are unsure of where she came from however we saw that she needed medical attention. When we saw her, she was frail and skinny, unable to move much without wobbling, has green mucus and eye discharge. She was also sneezing a lot. Worried for her health and the other cats around the community, we decided to bring her to the vet.

We were unable to get her to undergo blood tests due to financial difficulties however from the vet’s prognosis, Pickles was given Nebuliser, IV drips, Antibiotics and more medication to help relieve her of the symptoms. The vet had also told us that there might be a possibility that Pickles has a heart condition as heart murmurs could be heard.

We are currently caring for Pickles and giving her medications daily at home. We are hoping that we could send her for the tests to understand her situation better. The funds would be used to cover her vet costs and also food. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

We can be contacted via email ([email protected]) for any enquiries.

Update: Pickles has completed the Antibiotics course given to her. She is currently taking medications for her sneezing and mucus. She sometimes still has no appetite to eat and so far since she’s done with the Antibiotics, she has been vomiting (something we did not see when she was on Antibiotics/when we found her).

One of our other community cats, M, has also started to show symptoms like sneezing, retching, drooling and teary eyes. We are hoping to be able to get sufficient funds to run the necessary tests on him as well. If anyone has any information that might help us help them (perhaps your cat has similar symptoms before), please also let us know, thank you!

Update: Pickles has been feeling rather restless today, she keeps walking around the house and also has been urinating anywhere but the cat litter box. She vomited just now as well. We really do not know why she has been vomiting lately and we’re very worried. We’re really hoping to. . . . .
