Updates on Love for Merly: Helping her survive hemorrhagic stroke. #MerlyWillMakeIt!

Update posted by Dean Coritico On Nov 01, 2019

Merly made it! (from the most critical phase of hemorrhagic stroke)

Merly is finally on her way home at her parents-in-law house where she will continue to receive treatment until she fully recovers.

She can't speak yet nor move the left part of her body but we trust she'll speak and walk with us soon through continuous therapy! Thank you for always praying for Merly and supporting her in many ways. ❤️ We are thrilled to celebrate her birthday next week at home! Thank you, Lord!

Today, we are reminded of Isaiah 41:10...

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

⭐Watch "Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker" with us on Dec 20 (6.30pm) @ Rob Galleria! For tickets, comment on this post or send us message at https://www.facebook.com/merlywillmakeit/ ❤️

We call on your support for a movie fund raiser to help our colleague and sister, Merly Coloma. All proceeds of this fund raiser will help in Merly’s ongoing medical treatment and therapy.

Merly isn’t able to speak yet. She responds mostly by squeezing the hand that’s holding her, making easy facial expressions, raising her thumb or with tears falling down her face. During her therapy last tuesday, she was able to stand which signifies that she is a strong fighter, that she will do what it takes to regain her strength and recover well. With all your constant prayers, and spiritual, emotional and financial support, we claim complete healing and full recovery for Ate Merly.

To help with her needs, our colleagues have organized a blocked screening --
What: Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker
When: December 20, 2019 (Friday) at 6:30PM
Where: Cinema 3 of Robinson’s Galleria
Ticket price: PHP750

Please support this fund raiser by purchasing tickets and watching the movie with us, and by selling tickets to your families and friends.
Donations apart from the fund raiser are also welcome. All donations and proceeds will be given to Merly.

For ticket purchases, inquiries, or questions, please send us a message via this page.

Thank you in advance and God bless!

Praise report today:

Merly is now able to fully open her eyes! Praise God and many thanks for all your prayers! ❤️

She is still unable to speak but with her continuous therapy, she will fully recover in time. Expectedly, she can also go home by Saturday from the hospital as soon as necessary dues are settled. By then, she will continue treatment at home with dedicated medical professional help.

Merly's husband Chie, parents-in-law and her family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to you all for showing your love to Merly in many forms. May God bless you more by a thousand-fold! ❤️❤️❤️

Merly had her physical therapy earlier today. We've seen how a simple muscle movement increases oxygen flow; hence, better blood circulation. A reminder for us to exercise.

Thank you all for your continuous prayers and generous support! She is now moved to neuro room 719 in The Medical City.

We are reminded of this verse:

"A generous soul will prosper, and he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed." Proverbs 11:25

Blessed Sunday everyone!

Merly's condition is improving as she is able to grip strongly recently. She is letting us know that she's fighting! 💪 She also tried to respond when Ritche said I love you -- some teardrops flow from her eyes so she is very conscious! Doctors recommended that she will undergo early physical therapy and 2D Echo so praying results will be good and that the respirator can now be removed so she can be transferred to a regular room from ICU.

Another praise report, they have to make a P100k down payment to the Medical City tomorrow (running balance is P 700k) and when we helped her husband add all the cash resources on hand now, it's exactly what is needed -- P101k!

Lord, you are an amazing accountant! And thank you so much friends for your generosity. You are truly God's instruments. May you be blessed a thousand fold! ❤️

From Merly's husband Ritche:

"Merly is improving based on latest ctscan result. Blood clot is reduced to 30cc from 41cc. Hopefully by next week po, the respirator can already be removed."

Thanks to the good facilities and all medical professionals attending Merly in The Medical City.

Thank you Lord for Merly's strong fighting spirit and for her husband Ritche for being steadfast all these time!

Praise God for all the provisions and touching the hearts of many who are instruments of His goodness!
