Campaign Story
My grandfather has currently been going back and forth in the Medical Intensive Care Unit due to his Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and has been staying in the hospital, for the past three weeks as of 09/20/19.
He's currently hooked to the respirator as he apparently cannot breathe for long without it.
His medicine, which is apparently imported and hard to find, along with necessities for his living cost us P10,000 or about $190 every day.
Not to mention the hospital bills that we'll receive for when he gets discharged, which is already at past P200,000 or about $4,000 at this point, and he's barely even recovering.
Needless to say, we're at an all-time low. Any amount will be appreciated.
Will close this campaign when all his medical needs are paid for, regardless of the event's performance.

12/17/19 - Closing Soon
Update posted by Erykah Torres at 10:46 amSo, grandpa has been recovering steadily and had the thing on his throat removed. He can talk now but there's still air coming out from his neck. He appears to be breathing steadily now, and has since regained a portion of his strength back. He can't walk yet but he's. . . . .
11/18/19 - Home, at last
Update posted by Erykah Torres at 11:34 amThe discharge order was successful and grandpa will now be home until further notice. All that's left is to wait out to see how he readjusts with a hole in his throat (which he uses to breathe) and pay off all remaining balance. When that is achieved, I'll be closing
11/08/19 - DISCHARGE NOTICE
Update posted by Erykah Torres at 02:39 pmWe've received word that grandpa might actually be released soon, if all goes well. We just need to settle our current remaining account (and the upcoming ones in the next weeks he's still guaranteed to be confined), as well as have some funds ready for the medicine and equipment we
