Hope for Gizzy

Last Friday we discovered Gizzy excessively licking at his genital area, we took him to the emergency vet where we were sent home with meds, however, we ended up back at the emergency department 2 nights later when we were told he was blocked, and if he didn’t get treated he would die. We were stressing over what to do, because vet bills are HIGH.. we applied for scratch pay & we were able to get a loan. However, tonight he was showing some signs of reblocking, we’ve googled, we’ve called around, and we’ve even debated having to euthanize our 1 year old otherwise healthy cat besides having a urinary issue and we are desperate / heartbroken considering he is so young, and our daughters are so distraught over this considering we just lost our dog due to old age last year.. bu due to us already paying for the first urinary blockage, there’s no way we can afford another unblock procedure, + the PU surgery to keep this from happening in the future. Our only other option would be to euthanize.. and I’m heart broken as I sit here watching him play knowing he has so much life in him still. I never ask for help, but I’m willing to do what I can in order to save my cat because at least I will feel as if I tried rather than just giving up due to vet bills being so incredibly high. Anything helps, not matter if it’s big or small.
