Campaign Story
Food2Kids at the University of Georgia is dedicated to serving Athens! The money we raise goes towards reducing the debt Athens-Clarke County owes the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia. They are in debt because they sponsor the children in need of food, and because of this debt, they are unable to add more kids to the program. We see this to be a problem because there are many kids in the Athens-Clarke County area in need of food who do not have access to it. It is $275 to feed one kid a year. Every dollar helps a child in need in Athens, and we want to feed as many children as possible! Thank you!

Goal for the 2019-2020 School Year
Update posted by Ella Hasty at 08:13 pmOur goal is to raise $25,000 this school year to directly support and fund The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia. This money will go towards adding food insecure students in our local community to a program which provides them with after school and weekend pre-bagged meals to end the hunger-gap
