Campaign Story
Hello People.
I have been after this poor cat over 6 weeks to try to catch him as he is an a very poor health state and needs medical treatment as soon as possible.
After a few days following him around our neighbourhood I managed that he accepted some food and day by day he started to come closer to our area on a regual time for some food but sometimes he wasn't appearing at all for a couple of days and I though he may passed away because of his poor condition.
Finally he come along again and eat some wet food I also managed to add some antibiotics into his food which helped him a bit.
My goal was that he will gaine as much trust in me as possible to be able to get him in a box and bring him to the VET.
A few weeks he also made it up to our veranda and waited for food which I gave him but as soon I got closer he backed off but yesterday I finally manged to capture him and rushed "Dodo", (this is how I call him since) to the vet.
The same day late in the afternoon I arrived at the Clinic but as I took him out of my car he somehow escaped from the box and run off and I'm after him. As I never give up on rescues I spent about 2 hours to find Dodo which again "finally" I managed and could bring him to the vet after all.
Once at the VET they examined Dodo. The doctor said he has some kind of tumor on his chest (picture), 2 broken teeth and Stamatisis.
He was operated today, they cut out the tumor and castrated him at the same time but because of the long anesthesia the doc had to wake him up as it would have been a too dangerous for Dodo to be such a long tims under anesthesia so tjeu couldn't fix his mouth yet but will do. so when the time comes to remove the outside stitches (in 12 days) Dodo is a bit a wild cat and anesthesia is necessary to take the stitches out but at the same time he will also fix his teeth.
For the tumor the doc will have to send a sample for Biopsie to see if it is cancer or just a "normal" Tumor.
Besides all this he got treatments for flees and ticks as he was quit infested with them.
Now he will hopefully recover fast to be back where I took him from.
I kindly ask anyone if possible to donate towards his medical bill even a small amount will be of great help.
Please share with as many people as possible to help this little fellow to get whatever is needed.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to read through DoDo's story and let's hope all will be fine with him.
Have a heart and let's help DoDo

I’m so happy that kind people keep donation for Dodo’s vet bill... I will always continue to help Stray cats as much as I can afford it but without help from others it is really difficult as I have only very limited financial options but again I’ll try my best as long I can... thanks again for any help ❤️

Dodo's post operation...
Update posted by Gunter Turker at 07:52 pmtoday the vet removed Dodo's stitches and he is ready to be released tomorrow afternoon. He's doing good and is strong enough to live (hopefully) a decent life after his Tumor from his chest was removed but we don't know yet if this tumor will come back. We did not. . . . .
