Come forward to save Sadia, a cancer survivor

Until recently, Sadia Sultana was involved in the 'Cancer Awareness and voluntary donation' program of death. He saved himself from multiple bleeding patients with blood. But this time, Sadia herself is lying in a hospital bed suffering from fatal cancer. The unbearable pain and the pain of two cancers have been relieved for a while.

On Friday (August 8th), Sarezmin was seen in Dhaka's Uttara RMC hospital, Sadia's father Moin Uddin Helali standing beside her and crying. The home is in the Kawla area of the capital's airport. He has a shop there. He also regularly did his classes and tuition. But when the pain started again before Ramadan, he was admitted to the National Cancer Research Hospital. Sadiya is undergoing treatment at the Prakash Hospital under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Ashaduzzaman Bidhit.

He said, 'God does not give a girl such a disease. I can no longer see my daughter's suffering. I did two tests again a few days ago. It took about 1 lakh taka. So far, I have sold my vitamitata while treating my daughter. I can not choke. The obliged daughter is going to be responsible for everyone's life. Doctors have assured. But I am getting helpless with the burden of such expensive treatments. Now I can not cover all the expenses, including daily medical expenses and seat rentals at the hospital.

Doctors say colon and ovarian cancer treatments are expensive. There is no alternative to financing right now. Soon all three chemo therapy will be brought from abroad. Each of which will cost Tk 6 lakh.

Sadia is a third year student of the Department of Chemistry of Government Titumir College in the capital. He was admitted to Uttara Mahila Medical University and later to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University when he suddenly became ill at the examination center in May. The treatment was taken there for a long time. Later, the condition worsened. Colon cancer was diagnosed in the operation. Sadia was good for a while.

Sadia's mother Kamrun Nahar said another operation was performed after 5 chemotherapy. After the operation, the doctor undergoes various tests and the cancer spreads to the stomach and uterus. In the meantime we were taken to Tata Medical Center in Kolkata. But since the medical expenses are very expensive, I returned to the country. Now the girl's legs are swollen and thick. The stomach is also swollen. The pain became unstable. One dube cannot eat anything but water. My daughter has always worked in human service. Even if he refused, he would give blood to others.

Sadia Sultana's classmate, Marcia Afroz Mili, who is suffering from cancer, said they have already raised nearly a million of their friends in college. The cost of treatment is going up. Classmates are trying their best.
