Help and Support for our Father’s Recovery

First of all, we would like to thank everyone for taking the time to read this.

We are here asking for help. Our father, George C. Reyes, is currently admitted to the hospital since Saturday, August 17, 2019. We rushed him to the hospital due to appetite loss and non-responsiveness. Our Papa went Coma and was needed to be put in the ICU immediately. The first diagnosis is Pneumonia and Blood Infection. Today he is under intubation and needs to undergo a series of lab test and Cranial CT Scan due to the fluctuation of his temperature and deep sleep -- his condition is currently unstable. We were also informed that there might be complications due to his Diabetes or the possibility of cancer due to the lump in his throat that is still currently under observation.

Learning of these possibilities, our heart sank. Our Mama cannot process and accept this fact and she is on the verge of breaking down. Our Papa just retired last March 2018, and it’s only been a year and 5 months that we’ve been together with him. He has been working abroad (Seaman) ever since we were kids and now that he’s already retired this unexpectedly happened to him. We know how hard it was for Papa to be separated from our family for decades, that is why we want to spend more time with him and take care of him -- especially our Mama. We are looking forward to spending more years and create more memories with both of them and we are hoping for his immediate recovery.

We are asking for your support and donation because we won't be able to pay for all his Hospital and Medical Expenses. All donations will go to his medications, lab tests, medical supplies, hospital bills, and Doctor's fees. This will not only help us financially but will also help keep us strong, knowing that we have the love and support of the people we know and/or don't know yet. If your situation does not permit financial help, your prayers are as needed.

This is the biggest challenge in our lives, seeing our Papa in this condition breaks our heart. But our family, relatives, friends and the love of our God make us stronger to surpass this challenge. And we thank them deeply.
