Campaign Story
As you might know I had an internship in the Accident and Emergency department of Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
During my one month stay I have seen so much I cannot describe it in this short text, but to sum it up, Very skilled doctors are doing their best, but unfortunately the equipment they are using isn't even close to up to date medicine. Therefore I would like to raise funds for a bedside ultrasound machine.
I have seen many cases, but there was one common feature - doctors were forced to treat blindly by lack of imaging methods and diagnostic equipment.
I am not putting in this effort alone. My colleague medical students from Ghana are helping me every single step of the way.
We would like to ask you for funds that would help us to help people who need it.
