Who?

Hi, I am Karla (aka Karleesha) and I would like to share with all of you one of the best decisions (I've made so far) in my life which is becoming a volunteer in Nepal.

I cannot recall the exact moment I started investigating about it, but one thing I know for sure is that every time I was thinking about it, it filled me with joy and at the same time all doubts and fears disappeared just by thinking that, with this decision, I could make a contribution to the world (o como decimos en México, poner nuestro granito de arena)...especially for the children and hopefully you can be a part of it too!

Before I continue talking about this program, I want to say in advance 'Thank you' for reading this, for sharing it, for your kind words and specially for you help!

The program

My volunteer program is 'Childcare - Kathmandu' starting on Monday 19th August with a 8 weeks duration. People involved in this program have tasks such as caring for children, helping them with homework, arranging activities such as painting, singing (Yessss), sports, etc. also with the possibility to participate in other activities.

Once I have reached my target amount (:D), we continue collecting to donate this either directly to the Vertical organization or buying groceries to people in need.

¿Quien soy?

Hola, soy Karla (también conocida como Karleesha) y me gustaría compartir con todos ustedes una de las mejores decisiones, que he tomado hasta ahora, en mi vida...ser voluntaria en Nepal!

No recuerdo el momento exacto en el que empecé a investigar sobre el voluntariado, pero de algo estoy super segura, siempre que pensaba en el, me llenaba de una alegría que lograba que todas mis dudas y miedos desaparecían, ya que solo pensar que con en esta decisión, podría hacer mi pequeña contribución en el mundo o como decimos en México, poner nuestro granito de arena ... especialmente para los niños, y lo mejor es que ustedes también pueden ayudar.

Antes de darles más detalles de mi aventura, quiero de antemano decirles "Gracias" ...gracias por leer esto, por compartirlo, por sus palabras de aliento y en especial por su ayuda.

El programa

Mi programa de voluntarios es 'Childcare - Kathmandu' que comienza el lunes 19 de agosto y durará 8 semanas. Las personas que participan en este programa tienen tareas como cuidar a los niños, ayudarlos con sus tareas, organizar actividades como pintar, cantar (ujuuuu), deportes, etc., y también la posibilidad de participar en otras actividades.
