Save The Retro

Hey, I'm Mykaela. I'm 16 and I have a great appreciation for all things retro. Especially video games. I've been playing video games as long I can remember and I was introduced to retro gaming consoles at a young age. I loved everything about them. I loved the pixels, the colors, the patterns, and I would think about them non-stop. I still do. Being in my generation and knowing about them feels like an underground rebellion. But, I've been genuinely worried about the state of retro gaming. Yeah, it's great that we remember these games, but wouldn't it be better to physically preserve the actual consoles? Well, what my team and I want to do here is save enough money to hunt down and buy one of every retro console. That includes Sega Genesis, SNES, NES, Atari 2600, and even the original home gaming console: Ping-O-Tronic! We want to use these consoles to teach gamers of all ages to play and appreciate the games from before their time while getting them excited about current and future ones. I've wanted to do this since I was 10 years old and I'm finally acting on it. It doesn't matter how much you give. It could be $10 or it could be $100; it could even just be $1 (the price of a chocolate bar). However much you give, it'll make all the difference in the end. But, please give while supplies last. Who knows how long they'll be around?

P.S. I've actually looked up the prices of each console and rounded up (in the event of a price change and taxes) so, this is not some random estimation.
