HELP THE GOOD SAMARITAN

As a mother, it saddens me to see my child in pain and in tears because of an abrupt illness. I am not used to seeing her to be on the receiving side since my daughter always has the heart to give and to help those who are in need. She never fails to extend help on outreaches focusing on feeding the street children, and selflessly dedicated her savings in helping churches, and other charity works.

A year ago, she occasionally has been suffering from stomach pain and is coming in and out of hospitals, her doctors found her gallbladder is contracted which somehow causes the pain. But late last year the pain still continues to occur, doctors said this time it was due to gastritis / acid reflux. It was addressed with some oral medications which somehow temporarily eased the pain.

Just about 3 weeks ago, she was again experiencing this unbearable stomach pain that she needed to undergo CT Scan and MRI to check on her thoroughly, thus, allowing the doctors to find out that her gallbladder was so much swollen that it cannot be cured by any medication but to remove the gallbaldder itself. So then she did undergo cholycystectomy. Inspite and despite of the surgery's success, still It was a tough time for my daughter since coming in and out of the hospital drains her not just physically but also financially. Her healthcare insurance cannot anymore provide financial assistance since it was already maxed out. Still, we believed that miracles do happen and there's still hope for humanity. Thankfully, She was able to get through the crisis.

So we thought all her pains and struggles will be put to an end after the surgery, but just recently she was again rushed to the ER due to severe stomach pain. I cannot understand how is this happening again and again. This time she was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis which explains the pain on the other part of the abdomen and has undergone another procedure to aid the swelling of her pancreas. High dosage of medications were injected inside her system just to save her pancreas from failing.

I pity my daughter. It breaks my heart knowing there's nothing I can do to help her financially. At the moment, her hospital bills have reached to almost Php 400k excluding the doctors' fees which is roughly around Php 80k. We have nothing left to pay for her hospital bills. Her bank account has already been drained after the last surgery, her credit cards have reached their maximum limits already. We tried reaching out to charitable institutions but to no avail.

I do not understand why all of this is happening to her. She used to be the one who helps, and now she is the one who is in need of help.

Today, as a mother, once again, I am knocking on your hearts to please help us in this battle, please help me raise funds for my daughter's hospital and medical expenses. I am hoping that you could spare a little amount of help for my daughter for which someone I know as a Good Samaritan. This time let us be one in helping a fellow Good Samaritan. Thank You.
