Ken Smith family and friends..... Anyone that has been following his progress via Facebook posts knows that he certainly is a miracle!
As he continues to fight every day please continue to pray for Ken and his family. Ken became critically ill on May 15th and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit and still remains there today. Our prayers have been answered and it looks like he is well on his way to recovery. Ken still has a trach and is very weak but hasn't let that stop him from giving the nurses and everyone who visits a hard time! His recovery will require a physical rehabilitation facility and we are still praying that this can be provided locally (rather than in Tallahassee). While the details of physical rehab (Where? When? How?) are still up in the air please continue to pray for Ken and his family.
Many have asked where they can send donations... a "GoGetFunding" account has been set up to help Ken and his family get through his recovery as he is uninsured and will not be able to return to work until he has recovered. Any amount will be greatly appreciated!

Update posted by Rusti Taylor at 10:00 pmKen has now been moved to step down. The doctors call him their miracle. He has been able to get his trach out, central line removed, and dialysis dicontinued. He will still need extensive rehab to regain strength in all his daily needs, eating, and walking. The family is hopeful
