Joel’s educational adventure started from Suriname

Hello everyone! My name is Joel and I am from Surinam (small country in South America). I did high school in Surinam and as every other high school student in Surinam, it was my dream to study abroad (since Surinam doesn't offer much study options). However, since Surinam is in general a pretty poor country, most students can't afford to study abroad. I thank God that I got the chance and opportunity to follow my dreams because this year, I am going to study pharmacy in Utrecht (the Netherlands).

I am really looking forward to make the best out of it, and to chase my dream. Also, to gain a unique experience and lots of knowledge, I am planning to do my internship in Japan to get a broader insight in Japanese healing methods. However, the Dutch government decided to abolish all scholarships, so I have to pay for all of this myself which is pretty expensive. With this, I hope I can get some help! I really want to take this chance that I got, and any help is very welcome. Thank you!
