Volunteer Field Technician with Jaguars, Ocelots, and Pumas in Belize

I have always been fascinating by big cats since I was a little kid (pretty sure The Lion King is to blame). I have an amazing opportunity to volunteer on an ongoing research project on jaguars, ocelots, and pumas with a professor from Virginia Tech in Belize. I've always wanted to be part of the conservation of wildlife, and with this program I can get a glimpse into the world that has always fascinated me. This great opportunity will help me get closer to my dream of getting my Master's degree in the biological sciences and apply the knowledge I gain to real world situations and contribute to wildlife conservation.
