Help Jim O’Bannon get better!

UPDATE #2: Unfortunately, Jim has passed away. Thank you to everyone who sent their love and support. My family and I are forever grateful.

My father's wake will be held at Loyola Memorial Chapels in Taytay, Rizal starting tomorrow (April 30, Tuesday) at 3PM. We'll be there until Wednesday, and he'll be cremated on Thursday.

Whether you knew my father or loved the stories about him, we'd love to see you at the wake.

My dad, Jim O'Bannon, is a crazy, wise-cracking ex-hippie who also happens to be my best friend. Friends and family know him as the guy they could always rely on for great advicr, a good laugh, or a delicious cocktail.

Recently, Jim was diagnosed with pneumonia, emphysema, urosepsis, and lumbar spondylosis. He's been struggling to walk, talk, eat, and breathe.

We're doing everything we can to get him the care he needs, so he can go back to being his usual stubborn, sarcastic self. But the hospital stay + his daily meds + round-the-clock nurses cost P15,000-20,000 a day, and it's difficult for our family to keep up with the rising expenses.

UPDATE: My father is now struggling to breathe on his own, so the doctors recommended he be hooked up to a ventilator. It costs P25000 for every three days, so we've had to raise the campaign target.
