Our Mama’s battle against Cancer

A few weeks ago ,this month of April 2019, our mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 Rectal Cancer. A cancer that has no cure but is treatable to prolong her life.

She just turned 52 last January.At first, we all thought it was just a simple problem because she was seeing blood drips in her poops. After a thorough medical tests, it was confirmed. It's CANCER. Me and my younger brother and sister broke down. Since she and my father were already seperated. We wept on our own as we do not want to show her weakness.

She may be old and some may think that it is natural to get sick at her age, and knowing what she been through on her younger years, but she is our mother and we love her dearly. And we may understand that life expires, but we just cannot bear to see her in pain.

During hard times, God has given our family love, faith, and strength to go through this. We are still blessed. Indeed, God provides...

Family, friends, and loved ones please help us with the medical expenses. PCSO and other government agencies are of big help as well. But with chemotherapy, weekly medical laboratories, and hospital bills, it is not enough. We have all drained our financial resources, and now we are desperately seeking for financial help. We just don't know what to do anymore.

She has to go through cycles of chemo and radio - therapy . She just transfusioned 6 bags of blood last week due for having lower level of hemoglobin and just 4 days ago, she undergone surgery - Colostomy which led her to have an ostomy bag that he will replaced almost everyday and cost around 200-500 pesos per piece.

We love her. We will be crippled without her. And we just can't let her go like this. Please help my mother, Adilaida Galves Boe, 52.
