I am just an ordinary IT person with 2 kids. As the sole bread winner since my wife failed to be able to work and we tried starting a business for her but our fate with business isn't really that good. So it left me to be the sole breadwinner. My kids are aged 18 and 12. My eldest is a graduating senior high school and my daughter is on Grade 7. At day I usually go to my day job as an IT programmer (low ranked) and at night I drive my grab car to earn some more additional income. Then on weekends, i coach basketball for young kids and young adults charging just a small amount just enough to add up small income to the family to cope up with the family expenses.

At first, our life is running smoothly with all my jobs in place. I was able to acquire mortgage for a small house and a car which I use to drive as a grab car. But as you can see, my days were all occupied that I am already failing to visit my doctor to check my previous health issue on diabetes and hypertension dating way back 10 years ago. In other words, failing to take my regular maintenance meds.

Then came this october, i was already having issues with my appetite. I really dont find pleasure in eating. I just eat for the sake of eating. Christmas and new year of 2019 came and still my appetite is dead zero. Then i develop a bad cough. So bad that i already asked my wife to bring me to the hospital. The 1st hospital did not admit me claiming they saw a bad result on my labs that they may not be able to manage my illness. So i transferred hospital and they said they are full. So on my 3rd hospital i was finally admitted. There they treated me of my cough which turned out to be pneumonia. Thereafter, they informed me that there was a bad result on my labs that i needed to undergo emergency dialysis. They said my creatinine has shoot up already way above the maximum level that it will be deadly if i dont allow to be on dialysis the soonest. My thinking right there was money. I know we dont have enough to spend with the dialysis.. so i insisted not to proceed with the dialysis and just cure my pneunonia instead and let me out of rhe hospital so i can look for money to spend for my dialysis. But the hospital did not allowed it. They said its really critical. My mom, wife and kids talked to me and asked me to give in. I really felt sad for my kids. So i look for another hospital that offers more cheap procedures and treatment for kidney patients. So i requested transfer and i was allowed. Then on my 4th hospital, i had surgery to install a catether on my chest to be used for the emergency dialysis. Then immediately a dialysis was commenced saving my life. After some days, i was realeased already from the hospital.

The adjustment and recovery did not went well. It was still a month until i was able to get back to work but on a work from home set up only as per my nephrologists instructions. Then just 2 weeks after that, i began to feel very weak. I usually collapse during dialysis sessions. Prompting me to stop working again. My kidney labs went good. But my heart tests showed bad results. I immediately went to see a cardiologist and he asked me to undergo andiogram. So i went after a week. The doctor find a blockage on my blood passage but said that it is manageable thru meds.

These eventuality in my life came to is a a surprise. We were really not prepared for this especially in terms.of finances. I was supposed to settle school bills this next few months since my son is a graduating student and will be changing schools in college. But i was able to use the supposed school budget for my illness. This is very hard for us. I already disposed my car just to be able to cope up with my medical bills and medicines.. That is why me and my.family are now appealing to your kind hearts if you would be able to please help us go through this. Currently, our philhealth is helping us with the cost of dialysis. But this assistance will last until june only. After this i would need to shoulder all expense on my own. And i dont know where i will get it. Thats why i was hoping that through this i may be able to put.up funds just enough to sustain my dialysis upto december since our philhealth will be reset on January.

To sum it up, i was diagnosed to have an End stage Renal disease and heart enlargement.

Should anyone need proofs of this, i have a ready file to send. This consists of scanned copies.of my medical abstract.

Thank you so much and may our Lord God bless you all...
