Mama Malou’s Hospitalization

My mother is Maria Leonila Odvina-Macanlalay. She is a strong woman who loves her children and grandchildren (whom she spoiled so much)! She also has a strong personality and she's a great cook and everybody likes her food. She always comes up of something to have income even though she doesn't have a good business skills. She also has diabetes that runs in her blood.

Last March 23, Saturday, she was hospitalized. A day before, March 22, she said that she has been suffering from a major pain in her half part of her head until Saturday. We thought maybe she had stroke or something that is why I told my father to bring her to the hospital.

At the hospital, she was given insulin and other pain reliever medications but it made her very sleepy and very weak. They performed several tests to her like CT Scan, MRI, Lumbar Puncture, Ultrasound, 2D Echo, etc. But her blood sugar decreased from 304 to a hundred. And the doctors said that they found nothing on most the tests. Few days later, her blood sugar risen up again to 400+. We spent more than a week in the hospital and over a hundred thousand pesos but nothing is helping my mom regain her strength even the doctors have no any strong result of what's happening to my mom so we decided to transfer her to a hospital in Manila which is in Makati Medical Center and she is in Tower 1 Rm. 1668.

As we all know that all hospitalization is expensive and have inadequate funds for it. we are appealing to your good hearts to help us raise fund for our mom to get better. We have combined all our assets to raise fund but it was not enough. We need to raise at least P500,000.00 so she can come home with us.
