Our team aims for a sustainable holistic method of addressing the surge of homelessness in South Africa, specifically in Cape Town as this is where our team is currently based. The most effective way is to get to the root of what enables homelessness and to assist where necessary.
Our current goal is to provide a minimum of weekly hot meals around Cape Town.
Ultimately our goal is to run from mobile containers in order to provide hot meals on the go, to provide washing/freshening-up facilities, to incorporate a counselor for drug abuse and any other issues at the root of homelessness, and to assist these people to become job-ready by helping them compile CVs/Resumes, apply for jobs and to up-skill in order to increase job opportunities.
