Help save Harley’s vision

On Sunday the 10th of March 2019, one of my friends, Tricia, received a call that every parent dreads, that her son had fallen and was injured. While that seemed to be a rather small issue, the next part of the conversation horrified her. Her son Harley had fallen on to a board with a nail. The nail had punctured Harley's eye and he was being rushed to the local hospital in the province of Ilomavis, Kidapawan City where he was staying with her father while she worked in Davao City to provide for them.

Tricia works for us as our full time Health and Wellness Coordinator (as seen here on our company website https://webdesigndavao.xyz/#our-team), she is committed to her work and using her salary to send back to her family in the province, in an aim to give them a better life. She is not prepared for a situation like this and the doctors at the Madonna Medical Center in Kidapawan City have advised that the cost for surgery in an attempt to save Harley's eye is going to cost in excess of 70,000PHP. That is an amount that she cannot even begin to raise by herself, and that is why I have setup this page to try and help raise some money to help her and Harley. The initial Emergency Room visit has amounted to over 7,000PHP alone.

Tricia is a single mother to Harley, who is 7 in May this year and is understandably upset and attending to her son in the hospital and awaiting for more updates from the attending doctors to Harley's condition. The doctors are advising that without surgery there is no chance that Harley will regain any vision in his left eye. While the doctor cannot guarantee what the chances are that he will regain his vision in his left after the surgery, they are still determined to do their best to help him to regain vision in both eyes and have said that the surgery is his best chance.

The concern is though that the surgery they are proposing is going to cost Tricia over 50,000PHP for the hospital part of the surgery (that does not take into consideration of the Doctors additional fees for performing the surgery) and they need a deposit on the payment before they start the surgery, and full payment on the treatment before they can release him from the hospital.

We have as a company started raising funds for her and want to help her and Harley to have the surgery and give Harley a chance to see with both eyes again, we are asking for anyone that can spare anything to assist us to help Tricia and Harley.
