Help fund Rhya’s surgery

Hi, my name is Dianna. I have started this important fundraiser for my sister's family Siberian Husky, Rhya. This sweet 6 year old girl loves to play with her Husky brother Apollo but recently my sister Erica noticed Rhya limping on her right rear leg that did not resolve with crate rest. Erica took her to her vet where she was diagnosed with a cranial cruciate ligament tear https://bluepearlvet.com/medical-articles/cranial-... (ACL in humans) and being a medium to large breed dog, desperately needs surgery to repair the ligament. The surgery is called MRIT (Modified Retinacular Imbrication Technique) or Lateral Suture . Having worked as a veterinary technician for almost 15 years, I have seen many dogs present with this injury. The surgery is not cheap and is definitely an unexpected expense for my sister and her fiance, Alan, who have been trying for years to save what little they can for a modest Mid-Western wedding. I have seen pet owners have to surrender their beloved fur babies due to financial concerns, so I am frantically trying to get help for them and avoid the sadness of losing a pet. Rhya is a beautiful, active and silly dog who loves her family, which includes my 2 nieces! Please help me help her get the surgery she needs and deserves.
