Campaign Story
Hello friends! We are raising money for our best friend, Ms. Marie Ann Kaneyoshi, or as everyone calls her “Ems” or “Mhean” She’s in a critical condition and is fighting for her life right now at Baguio General Hospital. She gave birth to her third baby last Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019, and was diagnosed with Amniotic Fluid Embolism.
She had excessive bleeding upon giving birth that led the doctors to remove her uterus to stop the bleeding, thus her kidneys and liver were greatly affected. She consistently needs blood transfusion, type B+, to lower her heart rate of 140, which is way above the normal person’s heart rate of 60-100.
Her heart is working double time to pump more blood because she’s lost a lot.
Aside from constant worry of where to get blood donations, the hospital bill is also skyrocketing per hour.
We would like to ask friends to give donations to the family to assist them in this trying time, any amount can go a long way.
All donations will be forwarded to tita Julie, Mhean’s mom.
We are doing this for Mhean, a dear friend and a sister. A loving daughter and the best mom to her kids.

Update posted by Liby Cajipo at 03:00 pm* Heart rate has improved, from 140+ it’s now down to 79!* Blood transfusion is still needed.* She has a lot of excess fluids in her body and previously had no urine output but after correction of anemia and hemodialysis, she has immediately shown improvements. Her urine output was adequate,
