A daughter’s love: Help me save my Papa’s life

Hello everyone!

As you might already know, my father Jaycel Gonowon is in a bad condition right now. He’s admitted in the Intensive Care Unit of Santa Maria Josefa Foundation Hospital, Iriga City since February 02, 2019.

He suffered from Stroke that affected his occipital lobe (vision). He also had cardiac arrest on February 06, 2019. After his arrest, he was comatose for almost 3 days.

But God is good he woke up after 3 days but he can’t move nor see, the nurse told us he is considered as vegetative comatose. After a week, he is having multiple organ failure, his creatinin is already at 370 and having metabolic acidosis. We are advised to have papa undergo peritoneal dialysis, at this time he is in a critical condition and the only remedy is the dialysis to flash out all the toxin in his body. Last February 26, 2019 papa undergone a tracheostomy duo to excessive secretion and it’s the only way to release the phlegm that might cause pneumonia or other infection. March 04,2019 we are advised that he might go back to ventilator because he is having a hard time breathing on his own but there’s no ventilator available that’s why the doctor ordered the nurses to have a manual ambobag. And today papa is having a blood transfusion again.

Every now and then we have to pay for his laboratory in and outside the hospital (other hospitals because there are lab tests not available here in josefa). Everyday we have to raise atleast 10k for his medicine. And a daily use of ICU is 10k.

Today, our partial bill is now amounting to 250k. Without the doctor’s fee and surgery yet.

As a daughter, i grew up as a daddy’s girl. Often times i can hear people saying “kalalawgun mo si papa mo sa maray” and that there’s no doubt that im his daughter. I love him so much, i love my papa so much.

To everyone who’s been extending their help to me, my family and to my papa through financial support and emtional and spiritual support thank you so much! From the bottom of my heart Maraming maraming salamat po.

But we still need your help to raise such amount of money, i recently graduated last year and dont have a permanent job yet. My savings are already been used for my papa’s medication. Your help, may it be small or big amount is already a big help to my papa’s expenses.

His condition is a continuous medication that’s why i am humbly asking for your help.
