Campaign Story
On Monday January 21st 2019,
Lars , AKA "my big brother " was joking around, he suddenly fell down, without a word he was gone..
He had suffered a massive stroke.He never regained consciousness.
Lars came to Las Vegas when he was 18 years old.He started working for Bob and Jo Haas of Sahara Air Conditioning back when Bob rented out the back of Jimmy Anderson's shop.He loved doing sheet metal and working for Bob and Jo and stuck with them through thick and thin for over 30 years. In 2011 Lars fell off a 12ft. ladder onto the cement and broke his knee , his arm/hand ,foot and his leg. He wanted nothing more than to return to sheet metal, but his career ended that day , and he was never the same again
. He worked for a year driving a cab and tried to find other work. He was unemployed when he died and had gone through all his savings.
He was my brother and my best friend ., I was very close to him. I want to give him a funeral/ memorial that he deserved but I don't have the money for.On March 15th my sister and brother and 85 year old mom are coming to Las Vegas. On March 16th I want to have a memorial service for Lars, I'm not sure where yet but will post at a later date.
If you can help out all donations will be accepted and appreciated!
Or leave a story or memory of Lars to post.I want my mom to see the good friends that he had.
March 15th , my sister and mother got snowed in , in Colorado Springs,CO. and couldn't get out of town. We're going to try again the 1st week of April.

Lars was one of the first people I met when I moved to LV twenty some years ago. We quickly became friends and thus started a friendship that would prove to be a critical factor in how wonderful my life in Las vegas would be. Lars was an excellent sheet metal fabricator and taught me so much that I could truly never pay back the fact that he gave me a career. To Heidi & Lars family , thank you for sharing this wonderful persons life and memories with all of us. RIP Lars
