Let’s help Kaiden John heal

This campaign aims for the solicitation of funds for the third time surgery of Kaiden John Cuachon. A very special child with a very strong courage to fight for his life. Kaiden John was born on December 2017. He was born with multiple abnormalities like Hydrocephalus and Myomeningocele and others.

Myomeningocele - also known as Spina bifida is the most sever form of all type of Meningocele. Associated problems include poor ability to walk, problems with bowel and bladder control. hydrocephalus a tethered spinal cord and latex allergy.

All mentioned condition have manifested with Kaiden John's well being.

In this picture he stayed in the hospital for two months. A Ventriculoperitoneal shunt (VPShunt) is to be place in his brain to drain the water from his head. A fine hose is to be embedded to his stomach as a passage way for the water which will be remove from his brain. At a very young age of 3 weeks he had undergone three surgeries (head, stomach and back).

He needs to maintain several shots of antibiotics until he is 6 months old.

Kaiden suffers from Myemenigocele, a wound at the spine that didn’t heal. Indication that the spine is not fully develop which may cause him not to walk. Theraphy (but not certain) might improve his walking condition in the future. Currently his lower limbs are very weak and he can’t barely move.

With Myelomenigocele , Kaiden John can't fully drain his bladder during urination, a catheter is needed to be manually inserted in his urethra twice day to drain the remaining urine.

The same is true when passing his feces out of his body. His rectum is needed to be stimulated in order for his feces to be taken out.

Kaiden John was born from a single mom. Her mom works very hard as much as she can, but she can't be able to support all the maintenance that her son needs considering the weight of Kaiden John"s health condition. The good thing is she is able to provide Kaiden John's basic needs like pampers and milk .

The ever supportive, sweet mom and a very caring grandma is the Superhero of Kaiden John's Life Story. Tess took all the blows which was brought out when Kaiden John came to life, she took all the troubles of taking care of this young man.She took care of Kaiden John more than she had taken care of her two children.

Tess had taken care of all the financial expenses in all of Kaiden John's hospitalization. She works as an OFW for 18 years and came home for good when Kaiden John was born. Kaiden John's condition, having been continuously in and out of the hospital for a year almost every month (2017...2018 til 2019) drains the whole savings of Tess for 18 years. Kaiden John almost spent a million peso being in the hospital... but still Tess would do everything for her grandson to survive.

I can witness her weep but the boldness still stays, and the fight must carry on. As she always said " money can be found, what is loss with money compared to losing someone you cared for."

Amazed with Tess resiliency I have decided to take a chance of creating this campaign with the hope having this campaign a success to help her and her family fight for Kaiden John life.

I am a close family friend of Kaiden John's family. I owe his family a lot favor. In my own simple gesture of showing my thankfulness I have created this campaign, looking forward for it to be a success.

This photo is taken during Kaiden John second head and stomach surgery due to Shunt malfunction on November 19, 2018. Seeing this little boy's innocence of what is going on, emboldens his family and those who love him to continuously fight along side him. this little guy has the appetite to feed on milk and continuously feed just to gain his strength, and that makes him strong to fight for his life. Is it not Amazing?

FEBRUARY 9, 2019 PRESENT DAY

Feb 9, 2019 - Kaiden John again displays a sign of irritability, always crying again, high fever, swollen back, and redness of the scar in his head. After visiting his doctor and undergoing CT scan it shows that there is a build up again of water in his brain.

The Surgeon advise for an immediate confinement. Another surgery must be done for the Third time...

Shown in the picture Kaiden John having a cross eyed looked because of the pressure in his head pressing his eye muscles. Such condition will be corrected as soon as the surgery is done.

Proceeds of this campaign will cover Kaiden John's hospitalization bill, Medication purchases and maintenance for monthly check ups.
